Privacy Policy

This policy covers the request form on prilispro.com and nothing else. It does not describe how PrilisPro handles a vehicle report once one is produced — that sits with the service itself.

What the form gathers

The form asks for your name, an email address, a telephone number, the province you are in, the type of vehicle you are looking at, an optional VIN, and a tick to confirm you agree to this handling. Nothing is gathered in the background: if you do not send the form, no record is created.

Why it is gathered

Your details are used to answer the request you made and to get in touch about the check. They are not sold, not rented, and not shared with a data broker. Because the visitors this page is aimed at are in Canada, the handling is built around the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and the guidance of the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC).

How long it is kept

A request stays on file while it is being handled, and for a short period afterwards so that a follow-up question can be answered. After that it is deleted in the ordinary course of business. You can ask for earlier removal at any time.

Consent and withdrawing it

Consent is given when you tick the box and send the form. It can be withdrawn later without giving a reason: write to the address at the foot of this page and the record is removed, apart from anything that has to be kept for accounting or legal reasons.

Your rights

You may ask what is held about you, ask for a correction, ask for deletion, or raise a concern about how the information has been handled. Requests are answered within the periods the OPC expects. If a concern is not resolved, the OPC can be approached directly.

No advertising or analytics cookies are set by this page. The typefaces on the page are requested from Google Fonts, which means a request leaves your browser for that service when the page opens; the cookies note sets this out in full.
